  46. Chapter 7 · April 27, 2018

It’s crunch time! At this point, we are taking advantage of every nice night/weekend that we have! It has rained every weekend since January (which is problematic when you are building a wedding venue), so when the sun comes out-we are out. We are so blessed that we have friends who just want to help us. I’m not sure if they just feel bad for us, or if they actually like to do this work (I’m telling myself it’s the second one).

Sometime in late October, we thought we would go ahead and start a Facebook page-that way we could keep our friends and family in the loop of how things were going on the property (Side note: Check us out in the sidebar to connect with us on Facebook, or @themanoratstowershill on Instagram). In addition, we wanted to begin marketing our property as a wedding venue; so I had some of my recently married friends pull their dress out and be my models.

  51. Chapter 2 · April 19, 2018

On August 31st, 2017,  Chad and I (along with his dad and a moving truck) moved from the heart of Knoxville to Harriman, TN. I was so torn on leaving our Knoxville home. It was in the perfect location (five minutes from both of our jobs), we had remodeled it until it was perfect (the master bath was spa like, yall) and most of all-it was comfortable (as in “our comfort zone”).
