Tyler and Kristen were such a great couple to work with! Their families were wonderful and the vendors they chose were some of our favorites.

One of the unique details about their day was the bride’s shoes-cowboy boots! Not only did she wear them, but so did her bridesmaid and mom!

Kristen was was one of our most laid back brides, ever! This was partially just her personality, but another key reason was, she used our day-of-coordinator (Nancy). Hiring Nancy allowed Kristen to enjoy and be fully present in her wedding day, and not be distracted by the million things that have to be done.

Nancy has doneseveralweddings at our place, so she is very familiar with our venue. She is a master of layouts, timelines and just getting stuff done. But most of all she is laser focused on what the bride wants. This is me and Nancy keeping the bridal bouquet safe : )

I was so privileged to photograph this wedding and staying on schedule was one reason it was a great day. For all you coordinators or photographers out there, y’all know HOW IMPORTANT it is to stay on track with your timeline. As someone in the wedding profession, It’s hard to stay on schedule, but Kristen was a rockstar and with a little help from Nancy we all stayed on time (or even ahead of schedule).

So why is it important to keep to your timeline?

1) it keeps everyone’s stress level down

2) it allows for the photographer to get all those important photos that they have discussed with the bride and groom prior to the wedding

3) it allows for the bride and groom to soak in each moment and enjoy her wedding day

You might think I’m being a tiny bit dramatic with how much I’m talking about wedding day timelines or the importance of a day-of-coordinator, but let me just say-it’s worth it to have someone else keep track of/coordinate the chaos.

This is YOUR WEDDING DAY and there’s a lot of logistics, details, and emotions all wrapped up in a few, super important hours. So, putting a wedding professional in charge (someone who has done many weddings) will make your day go off smoother. They know when do to the first dance or how to actually cut the cake or when to go ahead and do the send-off (before too many people sneak out).

It felt has though every aspect of Kristen and Tyler’s day had been thought about. She carried her theme throughout all the details. From the flowers (expertly done by Humble Bee) to the cake, to the table decor, everything flowed well.

So congratulations Tyler and Kristen! Your wedding day was one of our favorites! We loved your bluegrass band, the superior food and your super loving family. We are honored you chose us to host your big day.
