If I could describe Ian and Ashley’s wedding day in one word, it would be, “classic.” Every detail had been thought out, personalized and intentionally done.

Ashley looked stunning in her timeless ‘a-line’ dress, while wearing a solid strand of pearls as her necklace. If you are wondering what a classic southern bride is-look no further than Ashley.

What I loved about her bridesmaids dresses were 1) how cute they are and 2) how versatile they are for the future. Every bridesmaid can appreciate having the potential to wear this dress again for another event. I also think the lace detail on the arm MADE these dresses even more classic.

Have we mentioned how much we love navy suits? You can’t go wrong with a black or grey suit, but something about navy just makes me swoonThe groomsman navy suits pair very well with the bridesmaids maroon dresses. It was a great color combo for fall.

If rain is an indicator of good luck on your wedding day, than Ian and Ashley will be just fine. With scattered showers on their wedding day, they decided to get married on the barn porch. This creates a much more intimate ceremony for several reasons. The first is because physically, you and your guest are much closer in proximity. The second reason is the ambience of the lights on the porch and the sound of rain hitting the tin roof.

To end their wedding day, Ian and Ashley danced the night away. We truly enjoyed getting to work with them and their families to create their dream wedding. Thank you for choosing us to start this next chapter of your lives.
