This week we were blessed to get to work with two wonderful vendors: Evergreen Film Co. from Athens, TN and Humble Bee Flowers from Kingston, TN. In addition to having these two great resources, we had a stunning model-Daelyn Waldroup.

Our shoot started out, just as the sun was starting to set, on the wrap around porch.  Our flowers were “a fresh cut bouquet with white sunflowers, millet, zinnias, roses and assorted greenery done in a classic rounded style. White sunflowers and zinnias provided by Crout Family Farm and grown locally here in Roane County.” -Humble Bee Flowers

Our next stop was to showcase the Victorian garden, where you can take a stroll back in time. These gardens are snuggled between our porch and the 250 year old oak tree located in the side yard.

We then made our way over to the barn where we spent some time on the porch. Here you can listen to the spring that runs through the property.

Our newly hung lights were a perfect addition to create the ambiance you want for any outdoor gathering. Meanwhile-Daelyn is killin the photo session!

Just outside the barn, we have five acres of open field space. This is a nice spot for a ceremony site or a good corn-hole competition (whatever floats your boat). Have to give a shout-out to Chad’s dad, Tommy, for taking such great care of our grass. He is the reason it always looks so sharp! Look at those lines!

At this point we switched out our flowers for more of a fall look. Humble Bee best describes this bouquet as, “a permanent botanical bouquet with deep fall red, orange and accents of teal blue in a bohemian wildflower style.”

This shot right here just might be my favorite. I love how this photograph shows off the garden and the house AND is framed by our 250 year old oak tree in the top right corner.

We ended our session by heading down to the front of our property. There is a HUGE willow tree that has some grown up bushes around it. When I showed this area to Zoee from Evergreen Film Co., she said that we should go for it! She found these beautiful flowers and instantly created a vision for an area that had been overlooked for decades.

Zoee was an amazing photographer to work with. She was fun, easy going and wanted to make sure that Chad and I were happy with the location spots. She creates and captures moments that allow you to experience emotions all over again. I’m looking forward to working with Zoee again. If any of our brides are still looking for a photographer-we highly recommend Evergreen Film Co. for your photography and videography needs! Tammi from Humble Bee Flowers went above and beyond what we asked. Not only did she provide a fresh and creative summer bouquet, she surprised us by giving us a fall one as well! She was super timely and responsive to our needs. You can find her on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/humblebeeflowers/

We are in awe of how everything turned out. Thank you to everyone who helped make this vision a reality.
